For good, honest Balti cuisine there are few better places to try than the Royal Watan. Its interior is dull and the menu what you’d expect from dozens of similar places, but there is real flair in the cooking, portions are appetite-defying and this is home to the largest naan breads in the western world. It's cheap too, with main meals coming in at less than £6 and all are recommended. The waiters are irrepressibly cheery and very accommodating. Go there again and again-you won't be disappointed.
