Milan is a city centre restaurant offering more than the normal balti fare. Dishes are expertly prepared with deft combinations of herbs and spices resulting in exotic meals to suit all palates. With vegetarian and special chef menus to stand alongside the à la carte there is a bewildering choice, but the chilli lamb masala (£6.95) is particularly good. A sumptuous vegetarian set meal for one can be had for £11.95. It is pricier than some other Indian restaurants, but this is a reflection of the standard of cooking and the central location.
