This city center recommended restaurant has been around for 30 years. It serves authentic north Indian delicacies and claims to have brought over the first clay oven (tandoor) for cooking in Europe. All its chefs were trained in India before coming to work here so authenticity is guaranteed. Most dishes are highly original, including chili duck garlic at £9.90 and lamb Punjabi at £8.20.
