As the name might suggest, this is a popular choice for vegetarians and lovers of all things wholesome. Meat (such as stuffed chicken breasts) and alcohol are also on the menu, most will be pleased to hear, but there is an unusually large veggie selection - not too common in Birmingham. Mushroom and leek carbonara at £5.95 goes down well, and main meals cost £12 at most. The interior is functionally neat and tidy, with a certain old-fashioned elegance, and there's a great atmosphere at weekends.
