One of the few truly vegetarian restaurants in Birmingham, Rogan's is stuck somewhat out on a limb in Handsworth Wood. The stated aim of the establishment is to provide you with tasty, wholesome, home-made food at reasonable prices. That they certainly achieve, with a three course meal. Amazing. Lunch includes lasagne, falafel and burgers. Evening meals are more extensive and cover cashew nut pâté, tomato and olive flan, and apple and raisin tart. All food save bread and ice cream is made on the premises, and a great deal is vegan-friendly. Unlicensed, but bring your own bottle and there’s no corkage charge. Now that is value for money.
