EmailThrough purchases, gifts, or bequeathals, this museum was able to assemble more than 5000 objects (uniforms, arms, tools, furniture, engravings, and paintings) which give testimony to the life and times of the customs officer. In following the evolution of this oldest of French administrations, this museum lets visitors discover the political and economic life of France, from the Ancient Regime to present day. The working procedure of the customs service is shown as well its contemporary mission. Admission costs about EUR 3, and entry is free the first Sunday of each month.
