Visitors to the Basilique St-Michel are first struck by the clock tower, which is free-standing from the building and is the pride of Bordeaux locals. The tower, 114 meters tall, is the largest monument in the southwest of France. At its top, the panoramic view stretches for 47 meters from the heart of the city; you will have a incomparable tableau of the port and its surrounding neighborhood. Admission is 2 EUR.
