An English Garden in Bordeaux

Designed in 1885, this garden currently consists of a copse of ancient trees, despite the destruction of many during the storm of December 1999. The park has all the characteristics of an English garden: an even layout, expansive lawns, and numerous planters. A pool of water measuring one hectare rests in its center. In addition to swans and ducks, the garden has a small animal park with rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, and ostriches.
