The students of Bordeaux have adopted this place and on Thursday evenings it is nigh on impossible to get to the bar; even the pavement outside is a heaving throng of people. The setting is simple but comfortable and it has a giant screen for showing sports events and concerts by local groups held mostly at the weekend, especially on Sundays. Undoubtedly the best-known place for the local university students to meet for a lunchtime snack or in the evening before a night's clubbing.
