If you really want to know Boulder head over to Toms, and hang with the old town regulars. Best known for giant, juicy burgers and thick cut fries, the tavern serves other American classics including meatloaf and fried chicken. A dimly lit atmosphere, a jukebox playing classic rock, and big, comfortable booths make this a perfect alternative to the trendy bistros peppering the Pearl Street Mall. The casual place is anything but fancy, but the staff is rumored to be the friendliest in town.
