A tourist icon on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, the Big Pineapple has been delighting visitors for many years. The Plantation Train provides commentary as it travels through the pineapple plantation, stopping in the rainforest and at the animal nursery. Take a tour on the Nut Train through the macadamia processing plant; enjoy the boat ride with its special effects and marvel at the new nocturnal animal house. A restaurant serving scrumptious tropical desserts can be found inside the extensive gift shop. These can be accessed without paying an admission fee.
