Website | EmailCrow's Nest is a small town west of Brisbane where the locals are passionate about preserving their heritage. Carbethon Folk Museum is a 120-year-old house brimming with historical pieces gathered from the district or donated by townspeople. See examples of early china, furniture, linen, fashion and cooking equipment. Gasp at the ancient dentistry equipment in the surgery and marvel at the well-restored radios in the Wireless Shop. The workmanship and tools in the early slab hut and blacksmith's shop are fascinating. While not open every day, the volunteers who run the site are happy to open on request.
