WebsiteEstablished in 1978 in the spectacular Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens, this planetarium was Queensland's first. Within the Planetarium's Cosmic Skydome, visitors obtain a perfect view of space as seen in the Southern Hemisphere. A gallery features astronomical photographs, maps and diagrams. Visitors are invited to spend time with the astronomers when sky conditions are suitable for stargazing. Contact them for information on these special sessions.Admission: Adults AUD9; children (under 15) AUD5.50; concessions available. School groups welcome.
