Website | EmailThe Queensland Yachting Association acts as the representative body for the sport in Queensland. With over 200 clubs on its books, it assists with classes and training by providing administrative support. Training is available for all levels and sailing disciplines. Included in these are dinghy sailing, power boating, windsurfing and yacht racing. Licences required by Queensland Transport and relevant accredited TAFE course disciplines are also provided, along with administration issues such as management of sailing events and the interpretation of sailing rules. Details of the nearest classes and affiliated clubs are available on request. Costs of course vary depending on course chosen and duration.
