South East Queensland is a major producer of ginger and boasts the world's largest ginger processing plant. Formerly located at Buderim, the Ginger Factory has been relocated to Yandina and now plays host to a historic cane train, tropical plants, native wildlife sanctuary, shops and restaurants. Educational tours for groups can be booked in advance. Plenty of free entertainment and food for adults and kids. Prices below are for entry to wildlife sanctuary.
