It has spectacular gardens, both public and private, and plenty to see and do, particularly shopping for antiques. At the Toowoomba Railway Station on Station Street you can travel through time to the early 1900s in the restored Edwardian refreshment rooms and have a silver service three course luncheon at a very reasonable price. There are plenty of accommodation options, both heritage and modern, for those who want to stay.
