Website | EmailThe most interesting thing about Dicky Beach is that there are still the remnants of a 19th century shipwreck right in the middle of it. The "S.S. Dicky" ran aground at the beach in 1892 and the metal supports of the hull are visible at mid to low tide. Regardless of the shipwreck, Dicky Beach is a favourite spot for surfers who can catch reef and beach breaks year-round. There is a caravan park and camping ground on the beach front which are extremely popular during the Christmas holidays.
