A wonderful family beach holiday area, Coolangatta offers many beaches to choose from, depending on the waves and wind (surf or sunbake), to find the best spot for the children and Mum and Dad. Many vantage points to just observe too, particularly when the surf carnivals are on. Excellent surf, great shopping, cafes and restaurants, plenty of exciting things to do in the area, all add to your holiday or visit, without the crowds of Surfers Paradise.
