It is the ideal place for a close look at some unique wildlife, with koalas available to cuddle and kangaroos to feed. Lone Pine is the oldest koala sanctuary in the world and operates an important breeding and research program to ensure the survival of Australia's most loved animal. Picnic and barbecue facilities are scattered throughout the 20-hectare site, and parking is free.
