Opened in 1990, this small, simple Thai restaurant is the middle child in a family of Baan Thai restaurants, from New Farm to Kenmore, offering authentic cuisine with the minimum of fuss. With a choice of indoor or al fresco dining, the lilac walls and delicate lighting leave it to the cuisine to do the talking. The seating can be a bit close and at times it seems there are too many tables and chairs. With the emphasis on the genuine, all the Thai favorites are here with a tasty red and green curry and supreme Mussaman.
