There are plenty of decent Thai restaurants in Brisbane, but for sheer innovative design, Thai Mali is a front-runner. The decor will either be loathed or loved, as bright purple walls, green chairs and elephant ornaments dominate. The interior is quite large, so takeaway is only for those rushed for time. The menu is naturally Thai based with plenty of seafood, vegetarian and noodle dishes available. Some menu items include Pad Thai (noodles with vegetables) for AUD9 or Ped Yang (roast duck) for AUD14.90.
