Not many can believe that this boutique bistro was once a run-down historical tea storehouse before Philip Johnson bought it and transformed it in to a great dining space. He applies his transformation skills to his dishes too. River lamb and parmesan, pork and duck breast all take on a whole new succulent image. Even the normally plain eggplant and chickpeas suddenly become too hard to resist. No experimentation and fuss, let's call this Australian bistro an honest food joint!
