WebsiteSchonell Cinema offers twin cinemas and a pizzeria/cafe. Located at the University of Queensland, the cinema is always overflowing with students. However, the cinema is also frequented by many outside the university as it has interesting cultural screenings, as well as more mainstream films, at below average prices. The films screened at Schonell are selected from a wide range of festivals and countries around the world. Winning films from the Venice International Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Korean Film Festival and many other festivals are shown. Documentaries also feature, as do winners from the Best Foreign Film categories at the Golden Globe Awards and Academy Awards.
