Website | EmailLocated at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, the Optus Playhouse offers a more intimate theatre experience than the three other performance venues at the complex. The theatre features red/pink decor with intimate seating in stalls and balcony levels. The Optus Playhouse is an 850 seat proscenium theatre and caters for an orchestra of 50 musicians. Extensive backstage and technical facilities make the venue popular for smaller, but still technically complex productions. The venue offers two bars and a coffee shop that come to life following a performance.
