A clear bell-like chime greets you and varied other chimes continue to sound around the shop from the many shapes and sizes of clocks on tables, dressers and on walls from every angle you turn. Very grand grandfather and grandmother clocks are proudly displayed among smaller French coach clocks, all seeming to want to show off their particular chime (thankfully not all at once), with very high ceilings (built in 1860s) allowing for excellent acoustics. Old books sit comfortably on their shelves or piled beside the clocks, interspersed with various knick-knacks.
