Whilst the leading street stores market the latest international pop sensation, Skinny's chooses to promote music for those with an acquired taste. Skinny's is a rare and, sadly, dying breed of music shop, where people can call in to peruse the stock and sample the delights of a new band or an old classic. With an emphasis on rare rock and independent material, this eclectic collection will not appeal to all. It should however be congratulated on having the metal to stand by its tastes and convictions. They also promote Brisbane's local bands to great effect.
