WebsiteThe Brisbane home of the Queensland Rifle Association established in 1877, the Madden range at Belmont provides a controlled and safe environment for the recreational shooter. The club has social shooting events once a month as well as organised competition days, which qualified shooters are encouraged to enter. Supervision is stringent to avoid any accidents and club officials stress that the club is for professional and experienced shooters only and is not a training facility for new shooters. However, club officials are happy to recommend shooting schools to beginners with a view to them joining the club afterwards.
