This is a great place to brush up on your Italian or to enjoy old flicks from the motherland. The centre has a well-stocked library of Italian titles and offers language courses. It is practically the only place in Cairo to show Italian films, which are usually screened on Saturdays and Sundays at 6p. Unfortunately, there are no subtitles. The centre sponsors major Italian events and operas, check local newspapers for details.
