EmailIn 1996, a group of ex-bartenders-turned-businessmen purchased what was then the Palace Theatre, a Calgary landmark from the 1920s that had been sitting in ruin for years. The theater was lovingly restored and transformed into a brash and posh nightclub. This cavernous space features huge columns, giant Egyptian statues, dancing girls and a wall of water. On the second balcony is an intimate lounge that allows VIP members to enjoy fine cigars and liquors away from the sweaty dance floor downstairs. The stage hosts concerts regularly.
