Chinese herbs are not the only delight you'll find in this fascinating grocery. At first glance you are reminded of a candy store from the 1950's. However, those huge glass jars are full of some curious dried treats rather than humbugs. You will need to ask the friendly shop assistant for a run-down on just about everything. You will find Western oddities such as Royal Jelly and shark's fin, as well as more recognizable teas and prawn crackers. There are also dried mushrooms everywhere you look.
