Website | EmailWimpole Hall is built in 18th-century style, though the original house is older. Once the country home of Rudyard Kipling's daughter, its chambers are sumptuously furnished, in contrast to the servant quarters. Outside, the formal Dutch gardens come to a sudden halt before rolling parkland of woodland and pasture. In the summer open-air concerts set classical music to a background of fireworks. There is also a shop, cafe and picnic area. The park is open every day from dawn to dusk.
