Younger children will be enthralled by this magnificent, old fashioned merry-go-round. Located in the heart of Canberra's main shopping area, its music always attracts children. Originally built in 1914, the merry-go-round still has its original organ and beautifully hand carved horses. The horses were made in Germany and the poles were brought out from Scotland. The structure is quite large, so very small children should be accompanied by an adult.
