WebsiteThe Canberra Railway Museum provides a fascinating glimpse of history, and train lovers will be delighted by this hands-on display. The museum is located in a disused railway yard, and houses a collection of old steam engines and train carriages. The highlight of the exhibit is Loco 1210, one of Australia's oldest steam locomotives, built in 1878. There is a collection of vintage carriages and wooden sleepers. Visitors are able to climb aboard the trains, so the exhibition is very popular with children of all ages. Admission: Adults AUD4; children AUD2 family AUD9.50
