The Oktoberfest has a long and rich history in Germany, and is now celebrated around the globe. The festival in Canberra, although smaller than the Munich version, is a popular event which has increasing numbers of patrons each year. Experience some authentic German fun, food and festivity with a great family atmosphere. Listen to the Oktoberfest brass band, watch the German folk dancers or compete in the yodelling Queen competition. Naturally a special attraction is the German beer.
