Website | EmailThe Baptist church was established in Canberra in 1972. At first the local Baptists used the Presbyterian Hall for worship. Finally, on February 23 1929, the Canberra Baptist Church building was officially opened. The church has been built in the traditional style, with beautiful stained glass windows. The gardens surrounding the church are also lovely and the interior is warm and welcoming. Sunday school is open for children during morning service; a creche facility for babies and toddlers is also offered.
