This 16-kilometre cycle path is a must for the outdoor enthusiast. Beginning at Lake Ginninderra, the trail travels through several suburbs and a lush variety of habitats from grassy fields to aspen-studded wetlands. Waterbird sightings are plentiful as are some historic Aboriginal sites. An Australian Capital Territory Landcare effort, the trail is easily accessible from several different car parks, and is suitable for family riding. You will find shops and picnic facilities along the way. Just look for the frog pictures stencilled along the trail to keep you on track. Informative plaques offer a learning element that compliments this wonderful natural environment.
