WebsiteHere the river runs a picturesque course through a series of riverside and bushland picnic areas with barbecue and toilet facilities and broad swimming holes. The scenic drive past Blue Tiles picnic area and along the Molonglo River leads to an interesting collection of old ruins. A three kilometer walking track explores the scenic gorge and links up with Blue Tiles picnic area. This is another of the beautiful areas in the Canberra district, waiting to be explored. Further information and leaflets are available from Australian Capital Territory Forests which manages the area. Fifteen minutes drive east of central Canberra.
