Wherever you go in Canberra, you will see these distinctive red, open top buses. This official city sightseeing tour is a great introduction to Canberra as the bus has regular stops at all the city sights. You can hop off at any stop and board another bus later and tickets are valid 24 hours. The tour is accompanied by a professional commentary in a range of Asian and European languages. Tickets can be bought either on the bus, from some hotels or from the Canberra Visitor Centre. Board the bus at Melbourne Building, Northbourne Avenue. Admission costs AUD25 for adults and AUD12.50 for children.
