Experts, often university professors, will help you discover Canberra's landforms, rocks and fossils, native fauna and flora, and habitat. Gondwana Dreaming will customise your nature-based tour from part-day and day tours, to extended outback safaris. You can help scientists and researchers on a fossil dig. Or perhaps hunt for gold or precious stones. Cost: from AUD50 per hour or AUD350 per day for guide only without vehicle and vary depending on the tour.
