Website | EmailThe Baha'i faith was founded in Baghdad in 1863, and was officially established in Canberra in 1957, with only a few members. It is now a flourishing community consisting of about 130 members. The Baha'i Centre is located at Weston, about ten minutes from the city centre. The Baha'i religion promotes oneness across all religions and backgrounds, and is based on the teachings of Bahha'u'llah, the prophet founder of the Baha'i faith, which now has approximately five million members worldwide.
