Website | EmailThe Irish Club was formed as a meeting place for the Canberra Irish community and friends. Cead Mile Failte, meaning a hundred thousand welcomes, is what the club is all about and it welcomes interstate and overseas visitors. The club sponsors many sporting clubs in the Weston/Woden area, including the Irish Club Cricket Team and Darts team. You can also learn the Irish language, Irish dance or join the Celtic Choir. Other features include a restaurant and bistro, live music and traditional Irish music sessions on Tuesdays, so bring along your instrument.
