WebsiteCarlo's is making a mark in Canberra's competitive dining scene. There is seating outside or inside amidst lovely decor with blue and yellow walls, polished floors and paintings. The crowd is mixed, due to its location in a small suburban shopping strip. The potato wedges are one of the best items on the menu at around AUD7 a bowl. The mezze plate (AUD9.50) is also good value, with a nice combination of cold meats, marinated vegetables and dips.
