Located in the renowned Beaver Galleries, the Palette Cafe is a superb and popular place to lunch. Two rooms of this modern building are devoted to the cafe, including a courtyard dining area with paved flooring and full-length windows. The innovative cuisine includes Wok-cooked Field Mushrooms, Potato and Spinach Gnocchi with Goats Cheese, Swordfish with Macadamias, Venison Burgers and kangaroo. There is also a good selection of Australian and New Zealand wines available.
