Aptly named the Jewel of India, the first impression is of a pink jewel, reminiscent of the glow of a ruby, with predominantly soft pink furnishings. Genuine Indian artifacts and old timber furniture enhance the effect. Chef Venkatesh was trained in India and has many years of experience in top Canberra restaurants. His menu includes many regional cuisines including Tandoori, Biryanis and Pepper Chicken from Madras. Entrees start at AUD6 and mains from AUD12.
