This small and friendly restaurant is owned by the takeaway next door, although the Cookery Nook also does take-away from its own menu. This is a busy restaurant, with local families and friends getting together for an inexpensive, delicious meal. The Italian style food has the usual pastas, veal and chicken dishes, all of them homemade. The entree pasta with bacon, mushroom and cream sauce is a generous serve. An enormous serving of focaccia while waiting for your main meal is delicious.
