Website | EmailA relic from Canberra's history, this pub is worth the visit just for sightseeing alone. The Inn is built from thick, rough-hewn red-gum slab walls, and the 18th century atmosphere has been enhanced with old barrels, and electric "oil" lamps. But as a living modern pub, there are the usual pool tables, a juke-box and Sky Channel. Live entertainment is a feature on many Sundays. On fine days, choose one of three beer gardens or barbecue area. The usual beers and spirits are available. There is also function catering for special events.
