Situated on the slopes of the Simonsberg, some of the best wines of the Cape are made on the Lievland Estate. The estate boasts of one of the few underground maturation storage cellars in this wine-making region, where wines are matured under optimal conditions. No less than 32 Lievland reds and whites have been selected locally for awards. These fine wines can be tasted in the gabled tasting center, which dates back to 1823.
