Website | EmailSaxenburg Wine Farm, dating back to 1693, is situated on the slopes of Bottelary hill above Kuils River, and overlooks both False Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Today many regard Saxenburg, both at home and internationally, as producing some of the Capes finest, premier wines. The Guinea Fowl Restaurant is an ideal venue for either leisurely lunches or intimate dinners. The menu is designed to complement the wines of Saxenburg and is, in fact, one of the few venues where you can enjoy the older vintages from the Diners Club award winning wine list. Unusually for the Cape wine farms, Saxenburg is open on Sundays.
