Website | EmailDownhill Adventures run sand-boarding, surfing, and mountain-biking trips in and around Cape Town. Run four days of the week, all three trips are ideal for adventure-seeking visitors. Sand-boarding can be learnt in one day, surf school will teach absolute beginners and the biking is real off-road cycling. During the South African winter months, Downhill Adventures also run snow-boarding camps at Tiffendel Ski Resort, and one of the camps coincide with the S.A. Snowboarding Championships (a good chance to learn to ski before heading off to the Alps or Aspen).
