The largest, most technically advanced dance floor in the country plays host to visiting international DJs, who spin discs against a spectacular backdrop of lights and lasers. The massive venue, noted for it's tight security, takes 5,000 people and is spread out on three levels. There are a number of different sub-venues within Dockside, including: a jazz room; a Belgian cafe; a cocktail bar; the Monte Carlo dance area (playing 1950s to 1970s music); and the main dance area playing house music. It's big, it's flash but it lacks the heart of a small intimate venue.
